Yan-David Erlich (“Yanda”) is a General Partner at B Capital focused on investments in early-stage venture and growth-stage technology companies.
A seasoned investor, Yanda is also a former operator and four-time venture-backed founder and CEO. Before joining B Capital, Yanda was the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Revenue Officer at Weights & Biases, an AI developer platform. There he built out and oversaw the sales, customer success, BD & partnerships, strategy and data science teams. Yanda was an angel investor in the company and served as a Director. He also led the company’s Series A representing Coatue Management, where he worked prior to Weights & Biases as a General Partner responsible for helping launch and manage the enterprise practice for the firm’s venture funds.
Yanda founded Parsable, ChoiceVendor (acquired by LinkedIn), Mogad and Happiness Engines.
Yanda holds a BS in Computer Science and Electrical & Computer Engineering from Rice University and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. He is based in San Francisco.
